Help

Getting started, and the questions people ask first.

Getting started

  1. 1. Install the Tenlane Relay extension

It runs on relay.amazon.com and the other Relay domains, inside your own Amazon account. Nothing is sent to Amazon on your behalf and nothing is booked for you.

  2. 2. Sign in

One account for the site and the extension. Sign in here, then open the extension popup and sign in there with the same address.

  3. 3. Your first search

Type a city into Origin. It becomes a chip with its own radius — up to five of them, and the active one also sets the deadhead column. Add destinations and filters as you need them.

  4. 4. Turn on alerts

Press the ring to start auto-refresh. When a new load arrives you hear a sound, the tab title carries a count and the favicon changes. Auto-refresh is OFF every time the page loads, and it stops itself when loads arrive so nothing moves while you read them.

  5. 5. Save the search

Save This Search stores the whole board — every city and radius, the active city, the destinations, every filter and the sort. Applying one replaces the board completely, so nothing from the previous search is left behind.

Questions

Does it book loads for me?
No. Booking is always your own click on Amazon’s own Book button. The extension ships with its booking path switched off at build time.
Do I need my own Amazon Relay account?
Yes. Everything happens inside the Relay account you are already signed into, in your own browser. Tenlane never holds Amazon credentials.
What does the extension send to the network?
The load records your board already shows — route, payout, distance, equipment, times — so that other dispatchers see the same loads. You can switch sharing off in the popup.
Why is the board empty?
Either nothing live matches your filters, or nothing has been shared yet. The board tells the two apart in its empty message, and the filter chips show what is narrowing it.
What counts as a "new" load?
One the board had not seen before, measured by its creation time in the database and by its id — not by where it sits on the page. A load that is re-listed does not alert twice.
Why did the board switch to another city?
New loads arrived in one of your saved cities. The board switches once, to the leftmost city that has them, and marks the others in green with a count until you open them.
Can I use it on more than one computer?
Yes. Saved searches and your recent cities live on your account, so they follow you. The extension’s own phrase list follows your Chrome profile.
What does the extension do with my data?
Settings stay in your browser. Load records go to the shared network while sharing is on. The details are in the privacy policy.
How do I stop the board refreshing?
Press the ring to pause it. It is also off every time the page loads, and it pauses itself whenever new loads arrive.
Something is wrong — how do I report it?
Open the board with ?debug=1 at the end of the address, copy the event log and send it to support. That log is what makes a bug reproducible.
